In the plant room plants are not as passive as we usually perceive them, rather, they infiltrate our existing home infrastructure. Technology has made them more independent, and now they can grow in unexpected places and create their own indoor ecosystem. Here they intermediate the signals between you, them and the inhabited space - water, sound and light can be activated by simply interacting with them. In this instance not only do our perception of the space change, but also that of the plant. Here we exchange roles of active and passive participants in a new domestic technological ecosystem.
